Find out what hardware and cabling you'd need to set up a
network in your home or office.

A technician will:

Diagnose the computer to determine what is causing the
problem.
Attempt to troubleshoot the problem if no additional
hardware or software is required.
If additional hardware or software is required a technician
will:

Advise on required hardware and take care of ordering it.*
*Advanced payment is required for any hardware orders
and can not be refunded.

Data Recovery*

Computer Doctors can recover data that was accidentally
deleted and can also recover data off of a failing hard drive.

Data recovery service is not available on site, but we will still
go down to your house and pick up the hard drive from
you.**

A technician will:

Interview you to determine if you are looking to recover
specific data so that we may do a better job on your data
recovery.
Remove the hard drive to be serviced from your computer.
Transport the hard drive to Computer Doctors HQ.
Recover all requested data onto DVD discs.
Deliver the hard drive and DVDs back to you at no extra
charge.
*Base price covers first 4.7GB of recovered data. A $10 fee
will be assessed for every 4.7GB of data recovered
thereafter. Typical recoveries are 4.7GB or less.

**One standard trip fee will be assessed.

System Restore

Sometimes a computer is so far gone that the best solution
is to perform a system restore and reset your computer to
factory conditions.

A technician will:

Restore the computer to default factory conditions.
Start up the system and ensure that it is running properly.

Spyware and Virus Removal

Spyware and viruses can cause annoying popups to flood
your screen, preventing you from getting any work done.
These malicious programs can also steal any personal
information you type into the computer. If your computer has
become infected, Computer Doctors can help you.

A technician will:

Start scans and removal techniques to remove the spyware
and viruses quickly.

Internal or External Device/Drive/Card Installation

Need a piece of hardware replaced? We'll take care of you.

A technician will:

Connect the device to your desktop or laptop computer.
Install device software and update any drivers.
Configure the device to meet your needs.*
Ensure the device is working properly.
*Does not include adding the device to a network.

Essential Security Setup and Optimization

Every computer should have security software installed and
updated in order to stay protected against viruses and
spyware which can wreak havoc on your computer and also
steal your important data.

A technician will:

Install any security software you have purchased.
or

Install top-rated free security software.
and

Remove unnecessary active applications.
Optimize computer performance.
Install critical updates and setup computer to automatically
update Windows. (Requires internet connection).
